Overconstraints and mobilities

MECAmaster for CATIA V5 helps to analyze on an assembly the remaining mobilities and the overconstraints of the system.

From the kinematical modelisation of an assembly, MECAmaster computes and identifies the remaining mobilities (single or complex), and/or the hyperstatisms. Mobilities are clearly defined to the user and hyperstatisms are displayed integrating a “weight” to help the designer to find the good modifications to its system.

Technical solutions are proposed to handle each overconstraint (define a gap, a pre-load, suppress a composant, … ), and the Loads computation can then be run with these hypothesis.
